Fluorite
The fluorite can take on almost any color due to various natural admixtures. Yellow and green are well-known color variants, but violet to black-violet, brown, red and blue crystals are also popular in our online shop. The fluorite in rainbow colors is said to carry a rainbow within itself - which made this variant of the gemstone a coveted talisman.
Fluorite: Traditional Use and Significance
The ancient Romans believed they would stay sober if they drank their wine from fluorite glasses. There was also a belief that rainbow-colored fluorite would carry the rainbow within, making this variant of the gemstone a coveted talisman. Fluorite is traditionally known as a learning stone because it is said to have the power to improve perception and concentration, making learning easier. According to popular belief, its task is to clear the mind and restore inner order, allowing one to let go of stressful thoughts and worries. A fluorite talisman from our range can also be suitable as a strengthening companion for a new start, especially since, according to traditional beliefs, it alleviates fears and strengthens the gut feeling for making the right decisions.- learning stone

Fluorite: color and transparency
The pure form of fluorite is transparent and colorless. If other substances are added when the stone is formed, it can take on almost any color and appear milky. Due to the variety of color options, it is difficult for the inexperienced to clearly identify the fluorite. The fluorite belongs to the mineral class of the halides and gave its name to the fluorescence discovered in 1852. This term is used to describe the brief and spontaneous emission of light after a material has been illuminated. No mineral fluoresces more under ultraviolet light than fluorite. The so-called fluorspar is used in various industrial areas, but is also found as a gemstone and in handicrafts. The crystal is particularly common in Mexico, China, India and South Africa, among other places, but it can also be found in the German Black Forest and in the Ore Mountains.Fluorite: cleaning, discharging and charging
Fluorite should be rinsed under warm water and discharged once a week after shipment. Rock crystals are suitable for charging, the power of sunlight and hematite tumbled stones for chains.
