Sandstone
The sandstone from our range is an extraordinary sedimentary rock that consists of more than half grains of sand. It is best known from the field of architecture and artistic use for sculptures. Traditionally, the sandstone stands for peace and quiet, can do good work in the office and, as a talisman, accompanies those born in the zodiac sign Gemini in a particularly strengthening way. It is also associated with the sacral chakra.
Sandstone: Traditional Use and Importance
In popular belief, sandstone is revered for its calming energies. It represents peace of mind and supportive, warm relationships with other people. That is why it is ideal as an accessory for the office table, among other things. Its calm power is said to accompany changes, change and progress in life in a facilitating manner. He is considered both a companion to creativity and a friend when things are to be seen clearly. He is assigned the zodiac sign Gemini, which can benefit from its unifying and peaceful power. Traditionally, its powers are also used for beautiful hair and nails. In the Indian chakra theory, it is assigned to the sacral chakra and is said to be able to strengthen it.

Sandstone: color and transparency
The opaque sandstones are created by the natural cementation of sand grains into rock. Both the sand grains themselves and the so-called cement can consist of various minerals and substances. Its matt coloring is therefore due to the place and the starting materials from which it was created. The color often varies between light gray and white. However, there are also reddish, yellowish, brownish and greenish sandstones. The stones often have rings or waves in different colors. Some specimens also have a blackish glitter that can come from organic material such as plants.
Sandstone: cleaning, discharging and charging
Since many sandstones, depending on their composition, are sensitive to different weather conditions, they should mainly be used indoors. Too hot water or freezing can harm them.
