Agate
Agate is an interestingly patterned gemstone in our range. The beautiful gemstone is a variety of quartz or chalcedony and can be bought online in a variety of nuances. They show almost every color of the rainbow. For this reason, the agate is very popular as a cabochon or bead shape in spiritual jewelry such as bracelets and pendants.
Agate: Traditional Use and Significance
Because of its beautiful colors, agate has always been a popular gemstone and was used by the ancient Egyptians as a good luck charm. He should not only attract the good energies into life, but also be able to keep evil away. In ancient times, the Romans attributed protective properties to agate for their crops and believed that the gem could appease the gods. The mysterious magicians of Persia, on the other hand, used the intensely colored gemstone to ward off storms. Eventually, the stone became very popular in Europe during the Renaissance in the form of the agate sphere, which was a popular collectible item. Traditionally, the gemstone is used in stone science to treat sleep problems. In old legends, the agate's truthfulness is also mentioned: whoever looks at it should not be able to lie. The stone is always used when honesty and truthfulness are required. In popular belief, it is also assumed that agate can have a calming effect on the mind and in this way helps to improve concentration - the basis for focused work and meditation.

Sounding names like blood agate, fire agate and rainbow agate are familiar to many gemstone friends. The patterns can have colors of different quality and occur both individually and in multiples in a stone. White and yellow through red, orange and pink to purple, blue, green, gray and black are the most common colors in which the striped representative of microcrystalline quartz can be found in our online shop. Due to this unique natural drawing, each agate in our product range is unique.
Agate: Cleanse, discharge and charge
The stone is regularly cleaned under running, warm water. In order to discharge it, it is placed in a bowl together with hematite stones. To charge the agate, it is best placed next to a group of rock crystals in the powerful moonlight.
